Springtime Fun 2

Here are the remains of the first ripe strawberry of the season. Beckett was supposed to pick it and share with Mommy and Daddy. Instead he picked it, pulled the leaves/stem off and popped it in his mouth. And all he had to show for it was a little juice drip on his chin. It sure looked good and he seemed to like it. We should have plenty of berries this year, pics on the next post...

Here is our loving, gentle boy carefully sorting his books.

BBQ Beef sandwich; I tried to take it from him but he cried.

I love BBQ Nana & Papa!

Springtime Fun 1

Emma (our big-boned cat) shadows Beckett outside. We often find them digging or playing in the corner of the yard. She tolerates a lot of tormenting - but he gives her attention and that's all she wants.

Is he playing or hitting?

He's not kicking, he's petting with his foot

OK, now he's hitting her...

She just wants to play (she's actually slimming down)

Hey, what are you doing with those scissors?

Beckett's first hair cut...it didn't last long

We'll have lots of berries this year

Raspberries are still a few weeks away

On the far side of the raspberries the herbs and jalapeno/bell peppers are taking off. There's rosemary, cilantro, basil, oregano and lavender. Then we have Tomatoes, squash, eggplant, cukes and pumpkins

Sushi

Weather's been great and we're spending most of our days outside. Beckett is starting to darken up regardless of the spf-50. Trips to Columbia Park are great for Beckett - he's learning to do so many things on his own and like his daddy he is injury-prone. He bounces back quick and charges ahead every time. He eats like his daddy too and is becoming more and more daring with what he'll eat. He knocked down a whole California Roll the other day and enjoyed steak, potatos, shrimp and broccoli last night. (Note: toddler did not consume any raw fish)

Beckett loves anything with a steering wheel.
