July has been a busy month

What haven't we done this month! The rest of our year looks packed but we're having loads of fun. Mommie got her hair done special in preparation for the Breast Cancer 3 Day walk in September. So far it's been a hit! (I'm still taking donations for anyone still interested...time's a tickin')

Speaking of which, Mommie's off to Seattle this weekend to do some training walks with Kim while Daddy and Beckett are on their own to wreck whatever havoc is deemed necessary. Hope you all are enjoying your summer! Enjoy...

Blueberry Pickin'

Wonder of all wonders...we happened to find a blueberry farm not far where we live.
We drove out on the bumpiest gravel/dirt road to a small field in the middle of nowhere and found ourselves swimming in blueberries. We picked about 4 lbs and ate a few along the way. Beckett really enjoyed the outing...picking and eating blueberries, chasing flying grasshoppers, flirting with the blueberry girls and running around to his little hearts content. Mommie made blueberry coffee cake and Daddy made warm blueberry sauce for ice cream, pancakes/waffles and whatever else sounds good to drown in blueberry sauce. YUMMERS!!

4th of July

What a week! Our poor Beckett has been teething the last couple of weeks (pesky molars). Hopefully they'll poke through soon and give him some relief. Mommie made some new friends and was invited on an overnight trip to Seattle to see none other than Billy Idol. Nothing much to report on that other than the fact he was totally rockin' his bod for a creaky old punk rock geezer. HA!

Our 4th was pretty quiet. Had Grandma, Grandpa, Diana and Calleigh over for burgers, chicken wings and the usual fixins. Beckett loved his dessert of yummy strawberry milkshake (made with fresh strawberries of course!) We've obviously been spending a lot of time in the pool, hence the naked photos. Hope your 4th and summer is as much a blast as ours!
