Today was a very big day! Beckett has officially had his first haircut! (sniff, sniff) Yep, it was harder for Mommie than anybody else, but maybe that's because...well, bc I'm Mommie and he's my baby. Although you will see from the photos that he's looking less and less like a toddler and more like a little boy. (sigh) My how time flies...
So here's the lowdown beginning with our morning at the park. Adieu luscious blonde locks...till we meet again (probably when he's a teenager! HA!) Snaps to Gloria and the staff at Monkey Dooz for a great 'First Haircut' experience. Enjoy!

Long overdue update
I don't even know where to begin. So much time has passed (almost 5 months!!) since my last blog entry. We've survived Beckett's 2nd Birthday, Christmas, a very very long and cold winter here in the Tri-Cities, a trip to TX to visit Nana, Papa & Aunts Lauren and Lindsey, and back to the Tri's for more winter weather. Although the following pictures are just a handful to cover all that stuff, we are a busy unit and Beckett is growing and constantly amazing us with charm! Enjoy and I'll try not to make the next blog entry so delayed!
Swinging with Papa at the park in TX.
Cheetos & Papa. (I heart this picture of Beckett and my dad!)
comfortable lounging.
Beckett loves trains! For Christmas we got him a train table w/ all the bells and whistles (and trains!) So when we went to TX we knew we had to go to Zilker Park to ride the Zilker Zephyr. Needless to say it was a hit. His only bout of excitement was when we initially started moving. After that he just sat in my lap and enjoyed the scenery and the ride cuddling with me. Only towards the end did he sit next to me and enjoy the scenery in quiet solitude. It was awesome!!
Zephyr profiling.
"Wooooow!!!"
Beckett looks just like his Uncle Steve in this picture. We were watching Star Wars and enjoying popcorn.
The lonely pianist.
Precious moments...
Sharing a laugh with Mommie.
Kisses.
mobile phone.
sleep.
Cheese!
For Beckett's birthday we planned an evening at the Mid-Columbia Gymnastics facility. Needless to say it was a big hit! An hour of playtime in the open gym followed by pizza, cake and presents. We had about 12 kids running all amuck and having a blast!
