Notes from Mommie

it's been rather uneventful around here lately. beckett is cruising furniture and taking big risks in walking. we're in trouble.
he still hasn't cut any teeth yet although i feel certain he's getting close. but then again what do i know?


the kelty kids baby backpack...too cool! we see great hiking trips in the near future.


i couldn't resist taking this picture. i poked my head in to check on him, which i normally don't do because i don't want to tempt fate, and there he was looking so cute in his gentle slumber. (Sighhhh)

brian worked hard getting our garden all set up this spring. our cup runneth over! these are just a handful of what's being produced out there. so far everything is divinely flavorful. this is only the beginning. brian obviously had fun with these pictures.

our neighbor joe and his family invited us to a personal and inside tour of McNary Dam. me and beckett saw the view from atop the turbine generator. the fish viewing room is on the other side of the dam. we caught a glimpse of this seasons salmon and had visions of good eats to come. beckett especially enjoyed this part of the tour!
